AF 04_103 POLICY
- Policy:
- Staff shall wear hearing protection when in areas with noise levels exceeding limitation and exposure time as defined by OSHA TWA (85 DBA over an eight-hour time period).
- Monitoring of areas that may be in excess of the TWA, will be at the discretion of the Sheriff.
- Hearing protection shall be maintained in a sanitary and reliable condition.

- Preservation of hearing is important for both the employee's safety and the efficient operation of the Sheriff's Office.
